News from Ashalayam

Don Bosco Ashalayam Delhi inmates prepared, cooked and packed the food. More than 500 people were served food everyday. Children were provided with milk and bread. There are lot more people still waiting for food. Most of these people live in uncertainty and fear.

It was something out of ordinary for the children who need some additional nutritional food. we did distribute 30 litres of milk in addition to rice, rajma and pickle for more than five hundred people. Children were provided with kheer (A dish made by boiling rice with milk, sugar, spices, nuts etc.) and others with chole and rice.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the people who have been generous with their help to help the needy. We express our sentiments of gratitude to you dear friends of Ashalayam for your generosity and concern for the people affected by lockdown.
